I know most of u might not be knowing the meaning of the arabic line that i have used above as the title...this line is a part of the Noble Quran...it means....."Pray God and he will give you the power to Succeed"...Success is what the prime thought that runs through my mind 24#7 at this stage of my life when i await my results which will decide the future of my life...
As i finish up the most golden days of my life--the school...i become nostalgic about those times when we travelled through the tunnels of studies towards a brighter sky that we are about to start climbing....I have related this blog to success because this is the time which will decide that for me....m i entitled to start the longest journey of my life towards a brighter future, which most of us aim for but quite a few achieve...or i still have to continue to find the sun hiding behind the mountains...
The decisions we take in life, need not always lead to a black and white solution as in mathematics. The decisions are guidelines and beliefs we chalk down our path towards a goal. Sometimes we get to the goal inspite of the decisions and sometimes because of them. And there are times when all goes wrong. The strength lies in sticking to a path that you chose to begin with. As the journey progresses, whether that path turns out to be tough or easy, you have to follow it because therein lies your principles and beliefs.
If either the success or defeat lingers beyond a day, it is impossible for us to face a new challenge the next time round, with full steam and gusto. I gather the broken pieces, try and understand what could be done better and start afresh.The harder I run, the farther I can go. The more I pray, the less I feel the burden of performance. Also I have learnt that after doing all this, there is no guarantee of success in every walk or every step i take. So all one can do is to give it your best shot and leave the rest.
As in cricket, Assessing how a ball should be played after seeing it at 1500 frames per second on your television sets is one thing…but to take that split millisecond decision, when the ball tears down at you, at 150 kilometers per hour, is another ballgame altogether. In retrospect things can be explained and faults and genius can be torn apart or praised, but in the moment that you have to live and deliver, a path has to be chosen and walked on, with complete belief that it will work out fine...
Before it gets too long, i conclude my first blog with lines by Theodore Roosevelt:
